Hey, y'all! Happy Easter! I hope your day is filled with brightly dyed Eggs, egg hunts, and all things Spring. Speaking of eggs, I have a weakness. It's an undeniable urge to savor Cadbury Eggs. These little ovals of happiness have been my favorite Easter treat since I was a little girl.

I've really had to practice some serious self-control in order not to gain 25 pounds this spring, solely from the consumption of Cadbury Eggs. I've been really well behaved, I've only purchased 10 of the large eggs and 12 of the mini-eggs and I'm happy to say that half of the large eggs and all of the mini-eggs all went into this glorious little thing I call Cadbury Egg Dip. A dip that I'll be sharing...so basically I've been depriving myself of fulfilling these urges.

I began playing with Cadbury recipes last year. I created this amazing Cadbury Egg Cake that was filled with layers of homemade Cadbury Egg-like cream. Dude. It was incredible! Unfortunately, I never got any pictures of it so I wasn't able to share it with you all.... man, I'm totally being a tease, aren't I? That being said, when I created this dip yesterday, I ensured that I got some pics of the process to share with you all.

This dip is jam-packed with Cadbury Eggs. I used both the large eggs and small eggs. You could totally use both, I've just found that the smaller ones aren't as runny and are easier to chop up.

I'm proud to announce that I ate 0 eggs while creating this recipe. Seriously. 0! That, of course, means that today when I serve it at Easter Dinner I'm going to go to town on this stuff.

I did sample the dip itself and O.M.G. it is super delicious!

Are we ready to get to making this Easter-approved dip?

Kitchen Essentials: Mixer

Ingredients:

4 oz cream cheese, softened 7 oz marshmallow cream 12 oz Cool Whip, thawed 5 large Cadbury Eggs (divided) 12 mini Cadbury Eggs Pretzels

Instructions:

1. Beat cream cheese and marshmallow fluff in a large bowl with an electric mixer.

2. Add Cool Whip and mix until well combined.

3. Chop the 12 mini Cadbury Eggs. Set aside.

4. Meanwhile, in a microwave-safe bowl, heat 4 of the large/regular size Cadbury Eggs until softened. About 30 seconds.

5. Add the softened eggs into the cream mixture. Stir.

6. Add in the chopped eggs and mix until well combined.

7. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

8. Garnish with remaining Cadbury Egg and serve with pretzels.
