Honduras is one of my favorite places on the planet!  Unfortunately, they do not have the marketing resources that neighboring countries like Mexico and Costa Rica have so many people don't know about all of the wonderful things this country has to offer.

 

Mainland Honduras is full of exciting adventures from zip lining to diving and snorkeling.   There are also countless Mayan ruin sites that modern-day explorers can check out!  The most famous of them being Copan.

 

 Honduras has 3 bay islands off its northern coast: Roatan, Utila, and Guanaja.  When we visit Honduras, we visit the bay island of Roatan.  Roatan has so much to offer its visitors!  Here you can snorkel, fish, go sailing, enjoy the beaches, go zip lining, visit a cameo factory and so much more!  On our last visit to the island, we discovered my new favorite place in the world, Little French Key .

I've now traveled to Honduras 5 times and I am planning my next trip for the Spring of 2018.
