Hey, y'all! Happy Friday! Why don't you celebrate with a delicious Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshake? Okay, I have to be 100% honest, we don't buy ice cream a lot. Mostly because I'm lactose intolerant and partly because we really don't need the extra calories.
Although there are lactose-free ice creams available, I just don't like them. Nothing compares to the smooth, creamy heavenly taste of real ice cream. Some things are worth the belly ache, and a good-quality ice cream is one of those things!
Often times, when we do have ice cream, I'll use it to make a milkshake. I like to play around with different flavor combinations and I'm pretty sure I stumbled upon something rather amazing; a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshake. It features my homemade rich chocolate syrup, and delicious strawberries blended in strawberry ice cream.

This recipe is perfect for enjoying while cuddled up on the couch watching Netflix! We are currently binging a few different things; Frankie and Grace, Love, and Girls Incarcerated. Let me just tell you, this milkshake goes down just right when the drama is heating up!
Ingredients:
2/3 cup milk 2/3 cup strawberry ice cream 2/3 cup strawberries, stemmed and sliced 1 tbsp hot fudge chocolate topping or my homemade chocolate syrup
Instructions:
1. Place a glass in the freezer to chill.
2. In a blender, combine the milk, ice cream, and strawberries. Blend until smooth.
3. Drizzle the inside of the chilled glass with fudge topping. Add in ice cream mixture.
4. Garnish with whipped cream, a cherry or a chocolate covered strawberry.
