Hey, y’all! I come from a family of bakers and cooks. When we all get together, there are 3 generations of us piled into the kitchen mixing, stirring, and preparing dishes and treats. Cooking is a tradition in my family. We start learning how to cook as soon as we are old enough to sit on the countertop. We love making super simple treats like Chocolate Covered Pretzels with the little ones.
Chocolate Covered Pretzels themselves aren’t anything new. We’ve all seen them before. They are delicious to nibble on and make adorable gifts for neighbors, coworkers, mailmen, beauticians, etc.
Let the kids join in on the fun! The jumbo pretzel rods are long enough that you shouldn’t have to worry about them getting their fingers too close to the melted chocolate. Simply dip the pretzel rods into melted chocolate and coat them with sprinkles, candies and whatnots and presto! A fun, festive and delicious snack!
Tip: Try using chocolate melts instead of chocolate chips. This chocolate is specifically designed to be melted so it comes out nice and smooth!
