The Absolute Best Steak Bites

This incredibly simple marinade turns plain old steak into scrumptious flavor-packed Steak Bites.

Hey, y'all! It's been a hot minute since I posted my last recipe! In fact, my last recipe, Loaded Cauliflower "Mashed Potatoes" would actually make a freakin' phenomenal side dish for this dish. These steak bites are simply irresistible. They begin with a simple marinade made from pantry staples. Toss the meat into a hot skillet and allow the meat to cook to perfection. These steak bites taste great with a fresh salad, carrot fries, cauliflower mashed potatoes, or even roasted asparagus.

This dish was inspired by Guinness Steak Bites with a Gouda Cheese Dipping Sauce. I was CRAVING this dish and for some ridiculously wild reason, our store didn't have any Guinness. I decided to play around with the recipe and came up with this little number, instead.

One of the key elements to this dish is your choice in meat. When preparing this dish, I always buy the highest grade of sirloin or rib eye the store has available. The better the steak- the better the outcome!

These steak bites are just as delicious as the Guinness ones however they are so much easier to prepare- which earns extra bonus points in my world. What I love most about this dish, aside from the taste of course is the fact that there's very little dishes involved in creating it. Who knew such simple ingredients could create such a fabulously scrumptious meal in less than 15 minutes?

One bite of these little babies will have you hooked! They are juicy, tender, and out of control delicious. I have a feeling these steak bites will make it into your regular menu rotation!

If you want to jazz them up a little bit, you could add onions, diced green peppers, and mushrooms.

Pro-Tip: Make sure the pan is hot, hot, hot before placing the beef into the pan. When dropping the steak into the pan, the pan should sizzle loudly.

Kitchen Essentials:

Ingredients:

2 tbsp olive oil

2 lbs sirloin, rib-eye, or porterhouse- cut into 1 inch cubes

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp salt

1/3 cup beef brother

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp brown sugar

5 tbsp butter

2 tbsp fresh

Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat.

2. Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, onion powder, and brown sugar. Drop them into the hot skillet in a single layer.

4. Cook the steak bites to your preferred temperature. About 3 minutes for medium-well and 5 minutes to well-done.

5. Remove from heat and add garlic, parsley, butter, and broth to the pan. Toss the ingredients and place the pan back on the stove, on low heat, for about 4 minutes- mixing frequently.
