Pumpkin Pie Dip

Scoop up all of your favorite fall flavors in this delicious, incredible dessert dip!

Hey, y'all! Welcome to this week's edition of Saturday's Snacks! Each week I share a Game Day appetizer recipe. Last week, my Jacksonville Jaguars played in London so we had an early, 9:30, game. Each year when this happens, we break out the breakfast casseroles and mimosas. If you have an early game this year, I strongly recommend my Chicken and Waffle Sliders, Super Easy Mini-Pancake Skewers, Nutella + Banana Mini-Pancake Skewers, or my Cheesy Ham, Broccoli and Egg Bubble Bake or Crazy Simple Egg Bake.

Last week we munched on my Mom's Famous Sausage Biscuits and Gravy (I'm trying to perfect her recipe for y'all!), Pumpkin French Toast and a yummy Broccoli, Cheese and Egg Casserole I made. I wanted to bring a bit of freshness to the menu so I came up with a Pumpkin Pie Dip to enjoy during the game.

I have to tell you, I'm a huge fan of dessert dips. They are a great way to indulge yourself without going overboard...well, theoretically. I suppose it's easy to down an entire batch of a dessert dip. Some of my favorite dessert dips are Easy As (Key Lime) Pie Dip, Strawberry Cheesecake Dip and Dulce de Leche Cheesecake Dip.

This dip is right up there with the best of them! It has all of the flavors of fall packed into a scoopable bite of deliciousness. It tastes fantastic on graham crackers and apples and believe it or not, it's banging on pineapple (weird... I know).

Ingredients:

15 oz can pumpkin 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice 6 oz fat-free Greek Yogurt 8 oz Cool Whip Apples, Fruit, Graham Crackers or Cookies to Dip

Instructions:

1. Using an electric mixer, combine pumpkin, brown sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice until well blended.

2. Mix in yogurt.

3. Use a rubber spatula to fold in Cool Whip.

4. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve with fresh fruit, cookies or graham crackers.
