Celebrate National Pumpkin Day with These 5 Pumpkinlicious Recipes

Hey, y'all! Is anyone else super excited that fall is finally here? Of course...being from Florida, that doesn't mean much. Our temperatures have just started dipping (and by dipping I mean we're in the mid-80's), and our leaves don't change into beautiful colors...but at least we have pumpkins! I will admit that I was one of those people that grabbed a Pumpkin Spice Latte on the day they came out. #sobasicIknow

Did you know that this Friday is National Pumpkin Day? I had no idea until we got a flyer about it while checking out at Publix. In honor of this glorious, faux-holiday aka the new greatest holiday ever, I'm going to share with you 5 yummy pumpkin treats ranging from roasted pumpkin seeds, to a savory roasted pumpkin soup and a tangy pumpkin spice margarita.

Roasted Pumpkin Soup is one of my favorite fall treats. I know what you're thinking...a pumpkin soup? You've gotta be kidding me? Trust me, it is incredible! I first tried this dish on a Carnival Cruise and now order it each time that I sail with them.

Make sure you save the pumpkin seeds for these delicious Ranch Flavored Pumpkin Seeds recipe! The are the perfect snack to munch on as you watch the big game this weekend! Check out the Saturday's Snacks series for more football friendly foods!

Ya know...it's really never too early to have some pumpkin. I created this Pumpkin Spice Overnight Oats recipe to fulfill my cravings first thing in the morning. I love overnight oats because you can whip them up at night and they will be ready to munch on when you wake up. They are the perfect grab-and-go breakfast. This recipe gets bonus points because it tastes just like my favorite dessert!

Another great grab-and-go snacks or breakfast treat are these fantastic Pumpkin Energy Bites made from creamy peanut butter, dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.

As if this post wasn't pumpkin-y enough, I've got a totally unique and quite delicious Pumpkin Spice Margarita recipe for you to try! Yeah...I totally went there. This is one of the most popular pumpkin recipes on the blog and you'll totally understand why after just one sip.
