BBQ season is here! Don't be the lame-o who brings something store bought to the party! All of these recipes are simple to make and sure to be the hit of the party.
Hey y'all! I love a good barbecue! Throughout the spring and summer months, my family has dozens of barbecues over at my parent's house. My dad gets behind the grill and works his magic with the meat while my brother, my mom and I whip up some pretty freaking delicious side dishes! We make everything from salads to veggies to scrumptious desserts.
Sitting outside on my parent's deck with my parents, my brothers and their families is one of my favorite things about the warm weather months. Last summer I shared with you some of our favorite BBQ side dishes and today I'm coming at you with a brand new list of delicious BBQ-friendly sides that are sure to steal the show!
I'm going to kick off the list with one of my all-time favorite salad recipes- the No Mayo Broccoli Salad. Instead of drowning your salad in mayo, try using this incredible, tangy dressing instead! This broccoli salad is loaded with fresh fruits and veggies and is sure to be a crowd pleaser. It's currently one of the most popular recipes on Maps & Monograms and understandably so!
This Crispy Brussels Sprouts Salad is a fun alternative to my Shredded Bliss Salad. I'm telling you, salads like these are sure to convert anyone into a Brussels Sprouts lover! Crispy Brussels Sprouts Salad is a delightful combination of roasted Brussels sprouts, shredded Parmesan, and lemon juice.
Of course, you'll need to have something to munch on while you're waiting on the food to get off the grill. This Loaded Baked Potato Dip is a fan favorite! This recipe features a scrumptious combination of bacon, cheese, green onions and ranch flavor. There's a reason this flavor combination is known as "crack"! You won't be able to get enough of this fabulous dip. If you love this flavor combination as much as I do be sure to check out Crockpot Crack Chicken, Loaded Tater Tot Skewers, Loaded Baked Potato Salad and Loaded Baked Potato Egg Rolls.
No summer barbecue list would be complete without good ole fashioned corn on the cob. This Southern Corn on the Cob with Milk and Honey is beyond amazing. The coconut milk and honey really bring out the natural sweetness of the corn making it tender, juicy and delicious. You have got to try this!
If corn on the cob isn't your thing, you'll definitely want to check out this alternative- Corn Puddin'. Corn Puddin' is a great combination of cornbread, corn and of course, cheese. You wo't believe how easy this wonderful dish is to make!
It's no secret that I love asparagus! It just might be my favorite vegetable. One of my favorite ways to prepare it is to blanch it and serve it with tomatoes, peppers, cheese and a glorious dressing.
Asparagus, Tomato and Pepper Salad is served cold, making it perfect for those long, hot summer days!
Nothing says "America" like red, white, and blue Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries, am I right? Not only do these little treats taste great but they are also super festive! Pop on over to the post to learn two easy ways to prepare these goodies.
While we're talking about Cheesecake, I can't forget about my Triple Berry Cheesecake Salad...oh yes, I did! This "salad" is a creamy, yummy combination of cheesecake filling and summer berries. You'll definitely want to whip up a batch of this fan favorite.
If you're looking for patriotic foods, we've got you covered! All of these side dishes are sure to steal the show at your BBQ.
