Hey, y'all! Happy Wednesday! Today, I thought it might be fun to share my most popular food posts from this spring. As a blogger, I often analyze data and do a bunch of super nerdy things to see what you all are into. I guess that's all part of being a math teacher too (adjusts glasses with index finger).
Let's get right to it and see what Maps & Monograms readers were into this spring, shall we? Here are the Top 10 Most Popular Recipes this Spring:
10. Low Carb Chicken Burrito Bowl- It's hard to believe this recipe already made the top ten list, especially since it was just posted last week! This recipe will be one of my go-to recipes this summer. The Chicken Burrito Bowl is full of your favorite burrito flavors without all of the heavy carbs making it the perfect healthy lunch or dinner recipe!
9. Soul-Warming Stuffed Pepper Soup- What I love most about this dish is all of the intense flavors. This soup has all of the scrumptious flavors of a stuffed pepper (bell pepper, rice, ground beef, and seasoning) all in delicious, easy to eat spoonful. Also, be sure to check out my Taco Soup recipe!
8. Better than Panera's Broccoli and Cheddar Soup- Raise your hand if you love Panera! I know I do. This year I set out to recreate Panera's Broccoli and Cheddar Soup recipe and I'm pretty sure I hit the nail right on the head with this one. I could serious lap up and an entire batch of this stuff.
7. Cheesy Garlic Spaghetti Squash- Boy do I love spaghetti squash. Since becoming gluten aware, it's been a great way to monitor my gluten intake. Ugh, yes, I've become one of those people. This recipe tastes a lot like macaroni and cheese without all of the guilt. I could easily eat this stuff at least once a week. It's that good. Be sure to check out my Veggie-Packed Southwestern Spaghetti Squash and Chicken Parmesan Stuffed Spaghetti Squash recipes as well!
6. No Mayo Broccoli Salad with Apples and Blueberries- This recipe is perfect for summer! I love this salad because by cutting out the mayo and replacing it with a super secret ingredient, it makes the salad more light, sweet and tangy. I love to make this recipe for barbeques. I have a feeling you're really going to like this dish!
5. Slammin' Queso- This queso dip has been a hit on this blog since I first posted the recipe back in 2016...when M&M was just an itty bitty baby blog. My friends and family tear this stuff up. It is seriously my favorite dip! The other day I went to a party and I was asked to bring queso and I brought a different recipe and I thought my friends were going to have my neck. This is my #1 most requested appetizer from my friends.
4. Southern Corn on the Cob with Milk and Honey- This post is only a month old and it's already one of the most popular food recipes on the blog...and rightfully so. This stuff is bangin'! This crockpot recipe is one of my favorite ways to eat corn (and I have to admit, I eat a lot of corn). You won't believe how easy it is to make! If you're a corn lover, you should also check out my Corn Puddin' recipe.
3. Totally Epic Emoji Popcorn- This recipe is a fun way to add some color to your family movie night. Just take some popcorn and drizzle it with colorful chocolate melts, add some sprinkles and emoji candies and you have yourself a delightful treat that perfect for you and your kids!
2. Princess Approved Mermaid Bark- It's so funny to me that this post is #2. I can tell that I have a bunch of moms hanging out here. This Mermaid Bark recipe is super easy and a huge hit at parties. It is simple to make (simply mix 3 colors of candy melts together, toss in some pearl candies and top with sprinkles) and it tastes delicious. It can be easily adapted to match any theme! This recipe inspired my Emoji Bark, which is also pretty popular on the blog.
1. Sandy Beaches Champagne Punch- This drink has been the most popular recipe on M&M for quite some time and rightfully so, this stuff is freaking delicious! Simply combine a frozen daiquiri mix, frozen lemonade, ginger ale and extra-dry champagne together to form the most incredible, refreshing drink.
