Rainbow Cloud Treats

Hey, y'all! I'm back with another great St. Patty's Day treat idea! Earlier this month I shared recipes for Leprechaun S'More Hats, St. Patty's Day Puppy Chow and Lucky Charms Treats. Today's goodie is another quick and easy treat that your little one is sure to love!

I love this "recipe" because it is something your child can do with little help. To create these Rainbow Cloud Treats, they will simply thread some Froot Loops through a pipe cleaner and anchor it into two powdered donuts to create a rainbow and clouds. This is great for young children's hand-eye-coordination and a great opportunity to talk about ROYGBIV with older kids.

Fun Fact: The colors of the Froot Loops don't indicate what flavor the cereal is. All of the colors are the same flavor! What flavor are they? Froot, of course!

What do rainbows and clouds have to do with St. Patrick's Day, you might ask?

Legend has it that a leprechaun's pot of gold can be found at the end of the rainbow. Since it is impossible to find the "end of the rainbow", it's pretty safe to say that gold is in a darn good hiding spot!

Ingredients:

2 powdered donuts Froot Loops Pipe Cleaners

Instructions:

1. Fold a pipe cleaner in half.

2. Thread a pipe cleaner through Froot Loops in the following order: Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Green, and Purple.

3. Place each end of the pipe cleaner into the center of the powdered donut.

4. Enjoy!
