Turn everyone's favorite marshmallow Easter treat into everyone's favorite Pokemon character in 3 simple steps!
Hey, y'all! Nothing says Easter like Pikachu, am I right? Okay... so maybe I'm way off but hear me out. You know those delicious little Peep Marshmallow Bunnies that everyone stuffs into Easter Baskets? What if I told you that you could easily transform those little guys into everyone's favorite little yellow Pokemon character?
Those of you who have been with us for awhile may remember these treats from last year! I sent this quick how-to to my email subscribers. People, went nuts over these things!
Last year I made these adorable little Pikachu Marshmallow Treats for my nieces. They were a huge hit with the girls! I simply took a yellow marshmallow Peep bunny rabbit and dipped the tips of his ears in melted chocolate. Next, I used a toothpick to put a small dot of chocolate onto a round, pink sprinkle. I used the chocolate to adhere the sprinkle to the Peep to form Pikachu's rosy pink cheeks. How simple is that?
These little guys would be a great surprise to put into your little' one's Easter basket. They are sure to be a huge hit with your favorite Pokemon trainer!
Ingredients: Yellow Peep Bunnies Melting Chocolate Round pink sprinkles
Instructions:
1. Melt the chocolate according to the package instructions. I prefer the double boiler method.
2. Dip the ears of the Peep bunny into the melted chocolate.
3. Using a toothpick, put a small dot of melted chocolate on to the back of a round, pink sprinkle. Use the chocolate as a "glue" to adhere the sprinkle to the Peep's face to form Pikachu's cheeks.
4. Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
