Hey, y'all! Lately I've been playing around with overnight oat recipes. Some of my favorite recipes have been my Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Overnight Oats and these incredible Cinnamon Roll Overnight Oats. Yes... you read that right! The thing I love most about overnight oats is that they can be whipped up in just minutes and stuck in your fridge overnight so breakfast is ready when you're on the go in the morning. I mean, even I can manage to grab a jar of oats to enjoy when I get to work first thing in the morning.
Ingredients: Makes 1 Serving 1/2 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt
1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup of old fashioned oats
1 tbsp cream cheese, softened
3 tbsp powdered sugar
3 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions:
1. In a sealable container (I use mason jars), combine Greek yogurt, almond milk, brown sugar and cinnamon.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese with powdered sugar.
3. Add the cream cheese mixture to your oats. Stir until smooth. Cover and chill overnight.
These overnight oats taste just like cinnamon rolls. They are super yummy! I love the way the cream cheese combination forms a "frosting" to really give the dish a cinnamon bun feel.
