Hello, friends! Ya know... I never really wanted a brother. Growing up I always wanted a sister. Someone to swap clothes with, someone to do my hair and nails (mostly because I'm terrible at painting them with my left hand). You know... girl stuff. Years ago my family "adopted" my friend Adam for the holidays. Suddenly I had not 1, not 2 but 3 brothers.
It turns out, brother's aren't so bad. Boys are more willing to go on adventures with me. They're more apt to do the things that I like to do; play in dark caves, go off the beaten path and explore new places. They don't mind spending all day Sunday watching football and drinking beer.
Anyhow, every holiday Adam brings his famous Yogurt Pie when he joins us. The pie is perfect for those of us who don't like sicky sweet things. It's light and airy and extremely refreshing. It is perfect for BBQ's or to enjoy after a heavy meal. What's even better? It couldn't be any easier to make!
Ingredients:
1 pre-made graham cracker crust
6 oz of yogurt (any flavor)
8 oz Cool Whip
Fruit or toppings of your choice, if desired
Instructions:
Mix the Cool Whip and Yogurt together in a medium sized bowl.
Spoon the mixture into the pie crust.
Allow pie to cool in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Garnish with your favorite toppings.
Doesn't it look scrumptious? This pie is perfect for cooling off on a warm day. I love that you can customize it any way you want. You could experiment with all kinds of flavors from fruits to sweets. The options are endless!
