These sweet and colorful Lucky Charms Treats are the perfect way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with your kids. This no-bake recipe takes just minutes to create and uses just a few simple ingredients!
Hey, y'all! St. Patrick's Day is right around the bend so we're getting in the Irish spirit here at Maps & Monograms. Treats like our S'more Leprechaun Hats and St. Patrick's Day Puppy Chow are a perfect way to celebrate the Luck of the Irish.
Today's recipe is something that I have been making for years. It's an adaptation of the classic Rice Krispie Treats. Rather than using Rice Krispies, I substitute Lucky Charms to give the marshmallow bars a bit of fun, festive color.
You won't believe this but I recently saw these guys in the stores. I totally should have capitalized on this idea years ago! But why buy them when you they are so easy to make yourself?
This project would be great to do with your kids, with plenty of supervision of course. The marshmallows do become quite hot once they are melted. Sugar burns are no fun, so if you do allow your child to help make these marshmallow treats, make sure they are wearing long sleeves and you are keeping a close eye on them.
Ingredients:
