Hello, friends! Today I thought I'd share with you some of my friends favorite appetizers. I am extremely fortunate that I am surrounded by some pretty impeccable people. My friends are amazing. I'm sure everyone thinks that, but mine truly are. I work with most of my friends and they've been in my life for several years. In fact, I actually share a classroom with my best friend. I literally get paid to spend all day with my best bud, how cool is that?
In the past we've hosted Christmas Parties, End of the School Year Parties and Post-Election Day Parties at our house. Each of these usually ends up with a group of us gathered around my kitchen table playing a game or two. We're all extremely competitive and have so much fun playing games with each other that we decided to start taking turns hosting a monthly game night.
One important part of having people over is providing them with something to snack on. I mean... what better way to control the trash talking than to make sure you friends mouths are full, am I right?
Here are some of our favorite game night appetizers:
My Chicken Bacon Alfredo Stuffed Bread is always a hit! It's super simple to make and incredibly delicious. This is the #1 appetizer recipe on Maps & Monograms!
Admittedly, my Slammin' Queso looks like dog vomit. However, don't judge a book by it's over. This stuff is bangin'! I swear to you that people literally scrape the bowl clean when I serve this.
My Jalapeno Popper Cheeseball isn't strictly for football season. This yummy mixture of bacon, jalapenos, cheese and green onions is the perfect combination!
Is there anything better than Chili Cheese Dip? I think not! The green onions totally make this dip. I could probably eat a whole batch by myself. Don't judge me!
Sausage Balls are a Southern tradition. They are a delicious combination of cheese and sausage with a biscuit-like texture. You know what makes them even better? Dipping them in ranch dressing! Mmm, mmm, mmm!
These Bacon Blue Cheese Truffles will sure to be a hit at your next game night! They are great served as is or with pretzels!
