Scrabble Christmas Tree

Hey, y'all! Well, the sickness has finally hit our household. Our weather dropped from 80 degrees down to the 40's which has totally thrown my immune system through a loop. Despite my best efforts to fight off the funk, I am sick, sick, sick.

It's been pouring rain for 3 days, so the air is super damp and frigid. I'm all decked out in a hoodie and sweatpants and I'm covered with a super soft blanket. I guess if there is ever a time to be sick, this is it.

Between naps, Christmas movies and cuddles with the pups, I've been crafting. Today, I started playing around with Scrabble tiles and seeing which Christmas lyrics could be arranged to form a Christmas tree.

Either I've gone stir crazy or my fever is getting to me...

I settled on "O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree".

I began this project by painting a black rectangle on a burlap frame I have.

Once the paint dried, I laid all of the tiles out in the pattern that I wanted. I then applied Modge Podge on the backside of each letter tile and stuck them on the canvas. After all of the letters were glued down, I added another coat of Modge Podge.

Ta Da!
