Family Friendly Activities In Miami

Whether you’re planning to visit Miami or already live there (and are just looking for some things to do with your family to enjoy and make the most of the city), then you may be wondering if there’s anything else to do other than spend time at the beach, then in this post we’re going to share with you some tips on some things that you can do in Miami that are family friendly activities. Of course, these are just some of the activities available in Miami, so if you’re looking for more local insight, then check out resources and blogs such as those by Anthony Markofsky to get more information on what’s happening in the city.

Venetian Pool:

If there’s ever a city to go swimming in, then Miami is definitely that place, and one of the best places to swim is at the Venetian Pool, which is a very unique and individual pool unlike any other. Children and adults alike will love this place because it looks nothing like a normal swimming pool, and although it can get quite busy - especially on peak or warmer days. The design of this place is made to resemble something you’d find in Italy, and also has a very cool grotto that kids will really love.

Wynwood Walls:

If you’re looking for a cost effective way to have fun with the family in Miami, then this free outdoor museum is a truly great day out for kids and adults. You’ll find some incredible murals and art work from acclaimed artists from around the world, so it’s definitely a good way to teach your kids more about art if this is something they’re interested in.

Other than that, there are great photo opportunities to make some great memories, and then there’s a lovely cafe where you can enjoy some much-needed refreshments after a day of sightseeing.

Safari Edventure:

Animal lovers will adore this little gem because it’s the perfect combination of a zoo, and a safari. The site itself is a private owned rescue facility that’s spread across 5 acres of land and is home to over 120 different species, some of which you’re able to pet, which is definitely a plus for kids and really anyone who loves animals.

Zoological Wildlife Foundation:

Again, this place will definitely appeal to animal lovers and is another rescue facility which sees animals donated, and where kids are able to interact with and feed the animals which is always something that makes for a fun day out for the whole family.

Miami Children’s Theater:

If you’re looking for something a little different, then this place will most certainly pique the interest of your children and really give them some insight to the world of show business and performing arts. All shows here are performed by children, so this may inspire them to get out and try something a little different.

We hope that this post has been helpful in giving you some good ideas for things to do with the family when you’re In Miami - no matter whether it’s for a longer trip, a day trip, or even if you live here and are looking for some fun and interesting activities that the whole family can enjoy together.
