Games are a great way for cruisers to pass idle time. These games are all easy to pack and fun to play!
Hey, ya'll! One of the most frequent questions I get asked about cruising is what people should pack. I've shared a few lists such as my Cruise Packing Tips for Newbies and Not so Newbies, 42 Items Every Cruiser Should Pack and What to Pack for a Caribbean Cruise but to be honest, my lists are constantly evolving.
There are some staples that I always pack; sunscreen, bathing suit, flip flops, wine, and wine accessories, and oddly enough- games. Games are an excellent way to pass the time on Sea Days. We play them anywhere from the bars to the Lido Deck and in the lounges before shows.
Games are also a really great ice breaker if you want to hang out with other cruisers. One time, I met a group of people that I really clicked with on a catamaran in Nassau and ended up meeting up with them later that night for drinks and a round of Twister on the Lido Deck.

When Packing Games
The best games for cruisers are small and portable. Most of the games listed above are card or dice games, making them easy to tote around. For games like Cards Against Humanity, I pack just the cards and leave the box at home. I store the games in a small travel bag and take it with me around the ship.
